Rock Springs Run
This river meanders through enchanted forests as well as wide open savannas. The water is crystal clear and home to many types of fish and wading birds. You'll also have a chance to see raccoon, bobcat, turtles etc. There are many places to stop and relax or if you choose to, go for a swim. Being close to Orlando also makes this a favorite. This is a great 2-3 or 4-5 hour trip. Level of Difficulty: No Experience Necessary for the 2-3 hour tour $ 59.00, Previous Experience Necessary for the 4-5 hour tour $89.00.

Extreme Emerald Cut This 2-3hour run takes you on some of Central Florida's fastest water. Paddle upstream to the top and let the river shoot you through the gap back to the bottom. This narrow river screams excitement and fun to the experienced paddler. Level of Difficulty: Previous Experience Necessary $59.00

Wekiva River
Three springs pour into this pristine river. The Great Egret, American Bittern, Woodpeckers, Great Blue Heron, as well as many other Herons and waterfowl flourish on this river. The Ivory-billed Woodpecker at one time called this home. These shallow waters create a fantastic environment for many different species of plants, fish and other wildlife. We are able to do a 2-3 hour tour or a 4-5 hour tour.
Level of Difficulty: No Experience Necessary $59.00 or $89.00 depending on the tour you choose

Lil’ Amazon
Come paddle one of Lake County’s hidden gems. This river lazily takes you back in time. With Emeralda Island Bird Sanctuary to the East and Lake Griffin to the West, it’s a wildlife odyssey!! All forms of wading birds make this area home for the winter. Look close for rarities such as Black Crowned Night Herons, Limpkins, Wood Storks and maybe even a Purple Gallinule, they are all here! Bald Eagles, Red Tailed and Red Shouldered Hawks and Owls of all sorts are often seen as well. If you want to see the other Florida, this is it! This is a great 2-3 or 4-5 hour trip!
Level of Difficulty: No Experience Necessary $59.00 or $89.00

Silver River
Exceptionally scenic! Some twists and turns of this river can reach depths of over 25ft and it’s so clear that you can see the bottom at any depth. You will definitely hone your paddling skills going upstream but a first magnitude spring makes the trip back a breeze! You’ll have a chance to see lots of wildlife; otters, wading birds, hawks, owls, raccoons, wild pigs and more. See giant garfish, armored catfish, bowfin and maybe even a monkey or 12. This is a beautiful 4-5 hour tour or a 6-7 hour paddle!
Level of Difficulty: Must be In Good Shape or you will be when you’re done $89.00 or $99.00 depending on the tour you choose.

Extreme Blackwater Lake Paddle through a blackwater forest to a beautiful lake rimmed with Cypress trees that are hundreds maybe even thousands of years old. These weathered trees tell many stories about the history of this land. This is a 2-3 hour treat. Level of Difficulty: Previous Experience Necessary $59.00

Photographers Tour
This is a tour for the serious photographer. We have the ability to access some of the most pristine waterways early in the morning and late in the evening when photo taking is at it's best. So, for the photographer who wants to hire a guide for the day, we offer a package that includes being introduced to the wildlife and waters in our tandem kayak. You paddle very little if at all, let the guide take you to the birds and you take the photographs!
Half day $100.00 or Full day $200.00

Winter Manatee Tour (Nov - Mar only) Winter in Florida is a magical time. The Manatee comes inland to bask in the 72 degree waters of Florida's beautiful springs. If you have never experienced this gentle creature, now is the time! This is a very nice 2-3 hour tour. Level of Difficulty: No Experience Necessary $59.00

We have packages for all ages and all of our tours are booked by reservation. The prices listed here are per person, just add the tax and we are good to go.

To prepare for your excursion, here is a quick checklist of items you will need to bring:
1. Your lunch (depending upon trip time and duration)
2. Non-alcoholic beverages
3. Sun block
4. Proper water attire & a change of clothes is always a good thing to have...just in case
5. Water shoes (old sneakers will do just fine as well)
6. Sun glasses

Also, it's always good to dress in layers. That is a great way to maximize your comfort. During the warmer months, you might want to bring an extra set of clothes with you and a towel. That way you are prepared if you decide to cool off in the water.
Your guide will provide:
A cooler with ice packs to store your lunch and beverages, a first aid kit, drinking water, the kayaks, paddles, PFD (life jackets), narration and education of Florida's diverse flora and fauna, some peace & quiet on the water and a great time!

Restrictions:There are no alcoholic beverages allowed on our tours, there is plenty of time for that afterwards.

American Bittern

This might just be our first Bittern sighting of the year. What an incredible thing to happen, they have been awfully scarce so far... and a beautiful day on the river followed.

A day on the Silver River, Kayaking near Ocala, FL

Dianne and Fran enjoyed a day on the Silver River 4-12-12. The Monkeys are out playing, flowers blooming, gators and turtles sunning and the Prothonotary Warbler is the true sign that Spring has Sprung!

The Ferree and Ayres families paddled the St Johns River near Orange City with us today and lo and behold, I believe they found one of the last remaining Manatees! By the way, these are multi-use paddles, isn't that right girls ;-) Life is good...especially if you can give Dad and Grandpa a hard time at the same time ;-)

Several of our rivers in Central Florida run North toward the St Johns and eventually out to the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville. Rock Springs Run is the dividing line between Orange and Lake Counties and the Wekiva River divides Orange, Lake and Seminole Counties. Seminole County offers some exquisite paddling, just ask Latoya Brown and Robert Lloyd ;-)

Rock Springs Run, a great day on the water! 2-21-12

Tuesday February 21st was a beautiful day to be on the river or in the river ;-). Rock Springs Run is 8.5 miles of gentle current pushing you along the way. There is lots of scenery, the river is clear with sandy patches so you can watch the fish dart by. It's just an all around nice place for Sharon, Susan, Jerry and Kenny to enjoy a picnic on the water.

Manatees and the St Johns River 2-10-12

The Bald Eagles, Herons, Turtles, Manatees and the baby Gators all came out to play with Gordon, Ron, Holly, Sandy, Eric, Randall and Kenny on February 10th, 2012. The Baby Gators are always a site to see especially from afar ;-).

Kayaking the Wekiva River January 22nd, 2012

We call the Wekiva River our "River of Grasses". It's a beautiful place to paddle, you can see the Eel Grass living in the water, taking care of all the baby snails, fish, crawdads, turtles...it's the "nursery" for the wildlife without a doubt. Once they grow up and start to come out to play, we get to see them sunning on the logs, feeding and growing the next generation. Today the Wekiva belonged to Greg, Dawne, Dale, Karen and Katie ;-)

December 13th was a great day to paddle with the Manatees. They were ready to play and we were too. With Glenn and Elaine Gardner from G2 Photos, Kris, Darlene, Kenny and I explored the banks for wildlife as the Manatee swam under our kayaks. We saw Deer, Turtles, Herons of all types, Egrets, Anhingas, the Cormorants and the "big boy" Gator ...it made for an awesome time! Rock Springs Run 11/12/11

The river is full of life these days. The Climbing Astor is in bloom, the gators, turtles, otters and the others are all playing in the cool November weather! Bruce and Judy came up to Mt Dora for a long weekend and decided Rock Springs Run would be on the agenda. What a beautiful day!

Full Moon Kayak Tour 10/12/11

The girls from MD came back down, brought cousin Trish and paddled the Wekiva River with us on the 11th. On the 12th we got together for a Full Moon tour and the sunset was mind blowing! Then the moon carried us home ;-).

Kayaking a Florida Creek called The Dora Canal 10-5-11

Renae took the morning to kayak the Dora Canal. Which runs between Lake Eustis and Lake Dora. It eventually joins up with Haines Creek and leads all the way to Jacksonville via the St Johns River. This use to be the only thorough fair to bring commerce to this area. It's a great historical place to spend any morning... just ask Renae!

On the Silver River, in Silver Springs, Florida the paddling is great, the swimming is awesome and today there was more than 1 monkey on the river...and I'm not referring to Wayne & Kenny OR our Customers ;-). We had the Grasse/Rossdeutscher family join us for a day of fun in the sun. Looks to me like Fun...with a capital F!
