The Wekiva has come up about 4 linear feet since the rains started and that's great news. The animals were definitely glad to see some sunshine and the Red-winged Blackbirds serenaded us as we headed out. The Anhinga's were drying their wings and this female was sharing the river bank with a small gator. The Little Blue Herons are starting to turn blue, the river is starting to burst with blooms and as we paddled along, we got more and more "pearls". This big gator let us all pass quietly and take a few photos and the Giant Leather Ferns are recuperating nicely. The ominous clouds appeared again as we approached the shore but we were done playing for the time being and we certainly do need the rain ;-).

I enjoyed it a lot and am ashamed to say I was miles away when I realized I forgot to leave my planned tip! It will be coming your way. So sorry.
The next time I come back to Orlando I plan to book you two again.
Thanks so much!

Jen,

Thanks for the pictures. I love the ones you got of us with the gator behind us. All four of us had a great time and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We will look you up if we come down to Florida again.
Thanks again for the fun time.
