Spring has sprung on the Silver River March 11, 2015

Spring is in full swing on the Silver River. The Yellow Spadderdock, Purple Pickerel Weed, Red Cardinal Flower, White Spider Lilies, Red Dahoon Holly Berries and Blue Flag Iris all decorate the river. Bald Cypress are starting to needle up, Pop Ash, Elms and Sweet Gum Trees are all sporting their beautiful new green leaves. The Gators, Turtles and Water Snakes are out soaking up the first warm days of the year while the Pied-billed Grebes, Great Blue Herons, Little Blues, Limpkins, White Ibis, Anhingas and Cormorants are all out playing too. There is lots to see and Mother Nature blessed us with another great day on the river.
