Michael and Katherine over from Belgium did the St
Johns River tour with us this morning. Working the shade line proved to be the perfect setup. In the spring run with the 72 degree water the fish were abundant.
A young Manatee came over for a look at us, what a magical moment. On the St
Johns we paddled past the Cypress Swamps and into the backwaters. The Alligator
Flag plant makes for giant hedge rows this time of year and the Purple
Gallinule that loves to hide there came out to say hello. It was a beautiful
day to be on the water!
