Kayaking in Eustis, FL: It's nice to be paddling Blackwater Lake again
For 8 weeks Blackwater Lake was off limits due to Hurricane Irma. So being able to kayak Blackwater Lake again is a welcome sight! Kayaking the half mile creek to the lake is just the entry way to a "step back in time". The Cypress Trees that live here are untouched by man. They escaped the loggers of the late 1800s. Home to several air plants, wild Florida Orchids, Quill-leaf and Spanish Moss they create a beautiful landscape. These pics are a blend of some that Pat, Rod and Kenny took. They tell the story of our kayak tour of Blackwater Lake. Thanks for sharing your pics with us Pat! #KayakingWithKenny
